Man...

I preordered Harry Potter 6 from barnesandnoble.com. It was supposed to get here yesterday, but I missed the mailman, so I can't get it until Monday. Since I missed the mailman today, I've seen it available at Walmart, Toys R Us (well, sold out, but still), and even a grocery store. Walmart had it for even cheaper than preordering with a member discount from Barnes and Noble. Every time I walked past a display, I was thinking "man, and I still have to wait till Monday." I mean, it's not like I was planning to sit down and read it straight through immediately, although I very likely would have read it for most of my shift at work. But I just got into the series in the last few months, so the books are still fresh in my mind. I would like to continue it...

On the plus side, I have doughnuts, and a new toaster, and new pots and pans. And I had glorious glorious rib tips at Famous Dave's. Still an excellent day overall.
